On the 20th October , 2020, the ill wind of Endsars protest that had seized Lagos and some other parts of the country by the jugular blew over to Okitipupa in Ondo South Senatorial District. The EndSars protest had been the reaction of Nigerian youths to the perceived misdemenor of the members of the special crack unit of the Police detailed to trail and expose robbery and sundry criminal activities called ‘ Special Anti Robbery Squad ‘ SARS ‘.
Ikale World Congress pulled resources together to support the rehabilitation of the public facilities which were destroyed in Okitipupa Local Government of Ondo State, during the ill-fated year 2020 Endsars protest which was hijacked by hoodlums. The renovation of the building includes the Magistrate Courts 1 and 2, Okitipupa, the renovation of the court starts by January 9th, 2022 and within the space of two months, the renovation had reached a commendable stage.
The project is led by late Chief Dayo Aiyebo who was so passionate about the Ikale development and the welfare of the people.
