IKALE WORLD CONGRESS LAUNCHES LIFE-SAVING CENTER FOR HYPERTENSION AND DIABETES CARE IN OKITIPUPA, ONDO STATE, NIGERIA

After witnessing numerous preventable deaths from hypertension, diabetes, stroke, and heart disease, the Ikale World Congress (IWC) took decisive action by establishing a multi-million-naira Life-Saving Center for Hypertension and Diabetes Care in Ondo State, Nigeria. Launched in December 2025, this center represents a transformative, community-based healthcare model designed to provide continuous, high-quality care for chronic diseases in underserved communities.

This initiative is more than a healthcare facility—it is a scalable model for disease prevention, early intervention, and sustainable health improvement, with the potential to save hundreds of lives annually and significantly reduce the burden of chronic illnesses in the region.

The Center was officially commissioned by Dr. Sehinde Fadeni and His Royal Majesty, Oba Faduyile, Abodi of Ikale Land, marking a milestone in the IWC’s mission to deliver long-term health solutions. At launch, the center enrolled 164 underserved individuals, ensuring immediate access to essential care and personalized chronic disease management.
