IWC Membership

The Ikale World Congress is a charitable organization with the common goal to connect and unite Ikale people living in the diaspora, specifically those in the United States and Canada. By opening its membership to all Ikale sons and daughters, it provides an opportunity for people to come together, celebrate their heritage, and work towards common goals. IWC serves as a platform for cultural exchange, community development, and support for its members.
IWC first inaugural convention held in Maryland which was attended by Ikale indigenes from different states in the US and Canada. At the formation in 2007, there were three affiliations of Ikale World Congress called chapters; they include New York, Texas, and Maryland. Later in 2008, four additional local chapters became members, these includes Dallas, Missouri, Philadelphia and Atlanta

Funding

Annuals Dues And Donations

In Ikale World Congress, the annual dues and donations by members provide a predictable and reliable source of income are used to support the organization’s projects and activities.  In Ikale World Congress, the combination of annual dues and member donations provide organization with the financial resources that used to pursue the IWC goals and make a positive impact in their communities. A certain level of $150 for family and $100 for single. 

The contributions received has helped the organization achieve their goals through their leadership.  The facts about the IWC donations include:

  • The Annual dues provide a predictable and reliable source of income that the IWC count on to fund projects and organize convention activities.
  • The member’s donations have also helped to fund special initiatives or one-time projects that fall outside the scope of the club’s regular activities.
  • Member donations provide an opportunity for members to demonstrate their support for the IWC and its projects, which help to promote greater engagement and participation.
  • When members donate to the IWC, have the right to know how their money is being used. This has helped the organization to promote greater transparency and accountability on the part of the organization.
